We are writing a book and hope to publish it in september. Why are we writing a book? We believe we have a story to tell.
We are offered too many products and services, which add little value to our lives. We believe that this is the result of our current industrial model. However, the industrial era has greatly contributed to our well being: products and services became cheap and available to anyone and global wealth increased enormously. But this industrial machine may not slow down or all efficiency is lost. So mass production needs mass communication to ensure mass consumption.
But it has become clear that this industrial model is exhausting our planet and not necessarily improving our happiness. Luckily there is a growing awareness amongst consumers as well as business leaders that the world needs smart, sustainable and meaningful products and services: products and services that do not exhaust our planet, that create value to our lives, that offer us convenience but also spark our creativity and intelligence and bring us joy.

Creating and bringing these meaningful products and services to the market requires a transformation. On one hand, it requires the creativity to challenge the status quo, to think beyond industry recipes. On the other hand it requires rationality and the structure and processes to covert ideas into cash flows.
With our book we want to contribute to the economic and societal transition we are going through. Our book will feature our vision on radical design and a step-by-step review of our methodology to create meaningful stuff. You will learn that design is not an object but an action and an exciting journey.
